The President of the Association of Business Service Leaders in Moldova, Olivier Prado and the Executive Director, Felicia Burlacu joined industry leaders and experts at the highly anticipated ABSL Summit Poland 2024 to explore the future of business services. On the first day of the summit, we actively engaged with the global community, exchanging valuable insights and best practices.
Janusz Dziurzynski, President of ABSL, kicked off the day with a thought-provoking welcome address, setting the stage for the summit’s discussions.
The session, “Clash of the Titans: Loud and proud: Poland at the forefront of FDI,” explored the future of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the region. The panelists discussed the impact of shortening and regionalization of global value chains (GVCs) on the economy and the role of nearshoring and backshoring in driving FDI growth.
We capitalized on the numerous networking opportunities to forge meaningful connections with industry peers and experts. By actively engaging in these interactions, the association strengthened its professional network and explored potential collaborations that could drive growth and innovation in Moldova’s business services sector. The conversations covered topics such as the impact of ESG on driving FDI and the strategies for moving up the knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS) value chain.
The day was marked by engaging discussions and thought-provoking insights from industry leaders and experts. The keynote speeches and debates provided valuable perspectives on the future of business services and the role of technology in shaping the sector.
We look forward to further engaging with the global community and exploring the latest trends and innovations in the business services sector. We are committed to leverage the insights gained at the summit to drive the growth and development of the industry in Moldova.
